Sara Watts

I am a qualified secondary maths teacher who loves teaching maths. I became a teacher as I believe that there is nothing more empowering and enabling than a good education and robust, secure maths / numeracy skills are fundamental.

Currently I work as an independent SEN consultant, specialist teacher and assessor in Herefordshire. I work for Communicate-ed as an assessor on the level 7 access arrangements PAPPAA course and have also recently (May 2022) started as a tutor for Real Training on level 7 Professional Report Writing course. I was working as an assessor for The British Dyslexia Association  as a professional practice tutor on the level 5 Dyslexia course, until the end of June 2021. I teach students from age 5 to adult, who have dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and or language difficulties . I complete diagnostic assessments and reports, (to DSA standards), from age 7 upwards, detailing the learning profile of strengths and needs. I also  conduct Exam Access Arrangements assessments. I run training and offer consultancy services to primary and secondary schools.
